Deciding on a name for your puppy or rescue dog isn’t easy but you know that you want it to be special, unique, and distinctive.
When you tell anyone your dog’s name, isn’t it a good feeling to hear people say “wow, that’s such a cool name.” And what could be cooler than giving your dog a name from your favorite movie or show?
You can also opt to name your dog after famous dogs that have starred in iconic films.
Movie names are great to match your pup’s personality with one of the actors. Is your dog independently spirited or totally goofy? Is he a leader or a smart mind?
Also, think about your dog’s appearance when choosing a name. What would be the best match for a muscular and strong dog or an elegant and athletic one?
Even before getting the dog, use his potential name in as many conversations as possible to see if it has a great ring to it.
You should be obsessed with your movie name decision and it should be so unique that no dog in your household or in your circle of friends has a similar sound to it to avoid confusion.

John Wick Dog Name
There is more than one dog that played an important role in the John Wick movies. First, we have the cute Beagle puppy that was only 8 months old when he took on the role.
In the movie, he was called Daisy although his real name was Andy. He is the only dog that was specifically bought for the film from a breeder.
After Daisy’s devastating death, Wick saves a male Pitbull from being put down and leaves him nameless.
If you have watched John Wick Chapter 3 you will definitely remember the two iconic Belgian Malinois.
But there were actually more than two dogs walking at the sides of Halle Berry. Five dogs were switched for different stunts and parts of the movie.
The dog’s names are Tai, Sam 7, Santana, Ikar, and Boyca and they are said to have been partly handled and trained by the actress.
Dog Names From Disney Movies
When I hear Disney I immediately connect it with my childhood which has been enriched by a lot of these wholesome and funny stories.
As an adult, I love rewatching them and each character is so unique that you will definitely find a personality that fits your magical pup best.
